2013 Scholar - Joshua Campbell

U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar presented Faith Christian School student Joshua Campbell with a four-year $4,000 college scholarship on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at an Indianapolis banquet honoring outstanding minority high school seniors from across the state.


Joshua participated in many extra-curricular activities, including National Honor Society, Senior Council, the Chapel Praise and Ministry Team, Bible Quiz team, and as a goalie for the school soccer team.


Joshua also served as a team leader for vacation Bible school and as a speaker for his church’s Easter sunrise service. He is musically gifted as well, having held the position of 1st trumpet in the Marching Band and Pep Band.   Additionally, he played the drums for a Christian rock band.


Joshua had the unique experience of traveling to Uganda in 2012 as part of a missions team. While there, he helped to build and paint a new school building. He has also served as a State Senate Page for State Rep Sheila Klinker.


Joshua attends Purdue University.
