2013 Scholar - Victor Grossling

U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar presented Hamilton Southeastern High School student Victor Grossling with a four-year $4,000 college scholarship on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at an Indianapolis banquet honoring outstanding minority high school seniors from across the state.


Victor demonstrated his leadership abilities as the Assistant Captain of the Varsity Hockey Team. He participated on the hockey team during all four years of his high school career.


Victor was also a member of the National Honor Society for two years, and ,through his involvement, participated in the Geist Cleanup event. Additionally, he was an active member of the Spanish Honor Society.


This outstanding young man had the opportunity to spend two of his summers – the summer of 2009 and the summer of 2011 – studying abroad in Spain. Along with tutoring and mentoring his fellow students, Victor worked part time a Nordstrom.


Victor attends Purdue University.
